Devotional: God Sees You
Scripture
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18 (NIV)
Devotional
There are times in life when the weight of sorrow, fear, or uncertainty can feel overwhelming. We may wonder if anyone truly understands what we are carrying. Yet God’s Word reminds us that He is near to the brokenhearted. He is not distant or indifferent. He sees every tear, hears every prayer, and knows every burden we carry.
God’s presence does not depend on our circumstances. Even when we cannot see the way ahead, He remains faithful. He walks with us through every valley, strengthening us with His peace and reminding us that we are never alone.
Sometimes the greatest act of faith is simply bringing our hearts honestly before God. He welcomes us with compassion and invites us to cast every anxiety upon Him because He cares deeply for us.
Whatever you are facing today, remember that God’s love is constant. His grace is sufficient, His mercy is new every morning, and His hope never fails. Trust Him one step at a time, knowing that He is working even when you cannot yet see the outcome.
Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being close to those who are hurting. Thank You that You know my heart and understand every burden I carry. Help me to trust You when I feel weak or uncertain. Fill me with Your peace, strengthen my faith, and remind me that I am never alone because You are with me.
Guide my steps today and help me to rest in Your unfailing love. May my hope remain firmly anchored in Jesus Christ.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7
